I’m an independent graphic designer and photographer specializing in brand identity, custom print, and packaging design.
Armed in research and grounded by an understanding of aesthetics, I build solutions that encompass the artistry and humanity of the creative process
I’ve always believed that as designers, we carry a unique responsibility: we get to tell someone else’s story.
We also spend a surprising amount of time convincing clients that yes, the logo really was centered the first time…
But, I love the messy middle—the building, the pushback, and the "no's,” the research and the strategy—because when the pieces finally click, there is a collective sigh of relief, like everyone has been holding their breath. In that moment, something old is revived, or something imagined becomes tangible.
I stumbled across photography when I was 16 years old.
I was placed in an elective film photography class and I actually remember complaining about how much I didn’t want to take it…
I guess you could say the complaining didn’t last very long because I very quickly fell in love with photography.
As the camera would snap, I noticed all of the beautifully still moments around everyday: the leading lines in building tops framing the blue sky, the quiet elderly couple chatting on the bench, the liveliness of a fresh fruit market. It made me feel centered. Peaceful.
So I aim to capture authentic environments, specifically on my travels, where there is life everywhere to discover and new stories to be told.
